ABOUT OUR CLASSES AND SCHEDULES:
• Each class is 30-45 minutes long
• Classes are AED:60 - AED 90 each session, depending on location and class frequency
• Classes are offered every day of the week, all year long
• We believe student swimmers should be allowed to progress at their own rate:
- Each teacher is trained to teach all skill levels
- Small class sizes allow for very individualized instruction
- No swimmer will be required to change classes if they're not ready
• Beginning swimmers are taught to love the water, and they become eager to swim
SALT Water SWIMMING
Our goal is to promote water safety, comfort and stroke technique for all ages and all abilities. We offer affordable classes on a flexible scheduleyear-round, 7 days a week. Our indoor pools are heated to a comfortable 31° in winters, 27° in summer and have been designed specifically for swim instruction. To learn more,
INFANTS & TODDLERS:
6 months to 36 monthsIntroduce your baby to the joy of swimming through our "Aqua Babies" program. These parent participation classes are a great way to spend some fun, quality time with your young child, while building critical water-safety skills. Our certified instructors will lead you in teaching your child beginning swimming skills including safety drills and guidelines. Classes are age and developmentally appropriate and include lots of praise, applause and encouragement, making them an enjoyable experience for both parent and child.
PRE-SCHOOL:
3 to 4 years 4 students maximum per classOur Pre-school program is broken down into four levels. Class sizes are limited to four students for more individualized instruction. Our unique approach combines water games with positive reinforcement to make swimming and learning FUN. This approach works well with every child, ranging from the very timid to the fearless. These classes provide the building blocks necessary for your child to become comfortable and safe in the water. Children who progress quickly will be introduced to the basics of proper arm and body movements for Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly.
BEGINNING SWIMMERS:
5 years and older, 4 students maximum per classThe idea of a "beginning swimmer" can include a wide range of ages and abilities. Our program is divided into four levels, and class size is kept to four students to allow for individualized instruction. All beginning levels feature a strong emphasis on comfort, independence and movement through the water. Each level builds upon the previous to break down the skills needed to learn Freestyle. If you are unsure about which level your child should begin with, we will be happy to evaluate your child's swim history and make a recommendation.
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED SWIMMERS:
5 years and older 4 students maximum per classIntermediate swimmers transition from the basic Freestyle to a competitive Freestyle. They will also learn Backstroke and our safety stroke — Elementary Backstroke.Advanced swimmers are ready to be introduced to the competitive aspects of swimming. Students will learn Breaststroke and Butterfly while Freestyle and Backstroke continue to be reinforced. In addition, students will learn streamlined push-offs, Breaststroke pull-downs and competitive turns and finishes.If you are unsure about what level your child belongs in, we will be happy to evaluate your child and make a recommendation. Our small class sizes and flexible class scheduling make it easy to find just the right spot for your swimmer.
YOUNG ADULTS:
Ages 9 to 14, 4 students maximum per class'Tweens and teens who want to improve their swimming skills are often reluctant to sign up for swim classes because they are afraid to be placed in a class with the "little kids." Our small class size and extended class schedules, allow us to group young adults primarily by age where they are allowed to progress individually and at a faster pace than younger swimmers. Young adult swimmers will learn Freestyle before moving on to the more advanced swim strokes.
ADULTS:
15 and older, 4 students maximum per classWomen-only andmen-only classes availableIt's never too late to learn. Whether your goal is to conquer your fear of the water, learn proper technique, prepare for lap swimming or even competitive events — we can help you get there. Evening and weekend classes available year-round make swimming convenient for even the busiest schedule. Onsite changing rooms, gender-specific classes, and our 92° indoor pools are all designed for your comfort.
ABOUT OUR FACILITIES:
Our pools are designed specifically for swim instruction: - Wide steps for class organization - Shallow areas for small children - Teaching stations for instructors
• An on-deck manager oversees all instruction and ensures student safety
• Clean, secure locker rooms make it convenient to change before and after lessons
• Seating area for parents, with some locations offering an adjacent play area
The Supervised Thalassotherapy Programme contains three basic elements: (Salt water pool)
Magnesium, salt, Potassium and seawater.
Thalassotherapy induces relaxation as the support from the high-density salt-water pools allows the body’s skeletal frame to relax completely whilst floating. It is the ideal treatment for sheer indulgence and relaxation and lasts a total of 45mins.
Thalassotherapy Pool - Regular Swim in Magnesium and Seawater: Good for the skin, the bones and joints. It is efficient for skin conditions such as eczema or joint conditions such as arthritis. Pool temperature 27C – 32C; session of 30 min.
Good for the skin to be cleansed, and beneficial for muscles to relax.
Here at SAMA AL JAREENA FITNESS, we use pure seawater for all bath treatments. The minerals found in seawater are believed to have positive effects upon the pores of the skin, as well as soothing healing benefits on the body.
Thalgo Hydrotherapy with Essential Oils (15 min.)
Essential oils of Cypress, Juniper berry, Rosemary, Oregano, Sage and Lavender assist in the elimination of toxins and excess fluid retention, whilst the hydrotherapy jets relax and sooth your
aching limbs.
